We are thrilled to be doing our 13th annual Indoor Holiday Bazaar at The Mellwood Art Center. MAC is one of Louisville's premier event spaces, with a prime location just East of downtown. With its artist studios, galleries, shops, and cafes, MAC will already be a bustling shopping center on Dec 21-22; and with The Flea taking over the two giant event rooms we expect huge crowds. Also worth noting: this spot has an enormous adjacent parking lot and the event space is set up for easy vendor load-in/out.

This is a juried event with priority given to artists, makers, craftspeople, and vendors selling vintage, antiques, collectibles, and handmade items.

FEES:
10’ x 10’ space inside — $220 per day/$440 weekend
6-foot table inside — $125 per day/$250 weekend

Snack & Food vendors — 10% of sales ($100 minimum)
*NOTE TO TABLE VENDORS: The table and up to 2 chairs will be provided. Your table will be 6’ long by 30” wide. There will be sitting space, plus storage space below, but the tabletop is all the vending space that will be included.

IN ORDER TO VEND WITH US, PLEASE …
1)
FILL OUT THE APPLICATION BELOW.
2) MAKE SURE TO CLICK “SUBMIT” BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM.
3) A POP-UP SCREEN WILL INDICATE YOUR APPLICATION WAS RECEIVED.
4) SEND US PICTURES OF WHAT YOU’LL BE SELLING (IF YOU DIDN’T INCLUDE A LINK TO A WEBPAGE).
5) ONCE WE HAVE SEEN YOUR PICS, WE WILL CONTACT YOU WITHIN 1 WEEK TO INFORM YOU IF YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED, DENIED, OR IF YOU HAVE BEEN PUT ON THE WAITLIST.
6) IF YOU RECEIVE AN ACCEPTANCE RESPONSE FROM US, YOU WILL ALSO BE RECEIVING A SEPARATELY EMAILED INVOICE FROM US THROUGH SQUARE. PAY THE INVOICE AND YOUR SPOT IS RESERVED. YOUR SPOT WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID THE INVOICE IN FULL.

NOTE: Your invoice will include a non-refundable $5 application fee (this is just to tamp down admin time spent on frivolous sign-ups).

LOCATION:

SPACE:
Fees for 10x10 spaces are just for a space; no tables, chairs, or canopies are included (though you can rent them from us).

SET UP TIMES:
We will for sure have a Saturday morning load-in; probably 7am-11am. We will also for sure have a load-in window on Sunday morning for newly arriving vendors and for returning Saturday vendors to replenish/re-set their booths; probably 9am-11am. We are hoping to set up a Friday load-in, too. We are working out the exact times/details.

OPERATING HOURS:
11am-6pm Saturday and 11am-5pm Sunday. Vendors must be set up by scheduled opening time and are required to be open the entirety of scheduled market hours (unless other plans are made with us prior to the event).

VENDOR SPACE ASSIGNMENT:
Vendors will be given a limited choice of spaces. We do not work strictly on a first come, first served basis as there are many limiting factors, e.g. reserved corner spots, booth size, etc. - We will try to accommodate special requests for spaces, however special requests ARE NOT guaranteed.

LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT:
There are multiple entrances with adjacent parking lots/parking garages with easy access to the venue. The Flea will have staff on hand “directing traffic” and available to help you load/unload.

CANOPIES/TENTS:
Canopies/tents are not required, but if using one, it must fit within your boothspace.

OVERNIGHT STORAGE:
Vendors will be able to leave their setup securely overnight. There will be overnight security staff.

PAYMENT POLICY:
This is a pre-pay event. After you are accepted, we will send you an invoice with payment instructions. Please pay ASAP, as your spot is not reserved until you have PAID IN FULL.

CANCELATIONS AND REFUNDS:
This event is a non-refundable pre-pay event. That said, we will consider giving partial or full refunds/credits to vendors who cancel well in advance and/or have a reasonable reason for why they must cancel. (minus a $20 admin fee)

COMMUNICATION:
We will communicate with you PRIMARILY THROUGH EMAIL. Please check your email, especially the week preceding the market. Please use email to contact us with questions. WEATHER AND RAIN DATES:
This is an indoor event, open rain, snow, or shine.

FIREARMS:
No firearms are allowed inside our events, except by explicit written approval.

We reserve the right to prohibit the exhibition or sale of any items that may be deemed offensive or threatening to our patrons, vendors, and/or staff. This may include, but is not limited to, products or images that are perceived to alienate a certain group based on race, gender, or sexual orientation.
